distant stitch
This is some embroidery I’ve been working on for Distant Stitch. I had to make a stitched sample using different hues of one colour. I love handstitching!
It’s actually a long narrow piece, but I Photoshopped this into four pieces to see what that would look like. I think I might add some accents like beads or sequins.
Dit is borduurwerk dat ik voor Distant Stitch heb gemaakt. Ik moest een borduurproefje maken met één kleur in verschillende tinten. Borduren met de hand is een favoriete bezigheid voor mij!
Het is eigenlijk een lang en smal werkje, maar ik heb er vier werkjes van gemaakt in Photoshop om te kijken hoe dat er uit zou zien. Misschien dat ik nog wat accenten toevoeg met kraaltjes of lovertjes.

It’s a detached chain stitch, but in stead of pulling the thread right through I left loops.
